He pulled a permit, scheduled me promptly and did the work in one day, including removing a chimney, repairing some rot and adding plywood sheathing for Code compliance. The roof looks beautiful now and is ready for many more years of protection. After the work was done, they returned to adjust the pitch on one gutter and he revised the invoice for my insurance company. The crew was prompt, courteous and professional. Universal Roofing offer the same material and brands of other installers but with a significant less cost. So where is the catch? There isn't one, the installation process was very smoot, and the end job is great (and I am a very picky customer). The stuff was very polite, they protected everything around the house, they didn't damage or stain anything (I have a white porch and white deck). The end results look fantastic.If that wasn’t enough, they also took great care to clean up after themselves, not leaving any debris or clutter behind. At one point they were literally raking the yard for old shingle fragments. I think our lawn might be cleaner than when they arrived!Don’t second guess it. Just hire them. read less

I can't recommend the guys from Universal Construction enough for any roofing needs. While they were up there, they checked the rest of my roof, and said that it was on great shape.
